Paul’s roots run deep in Central Minnesota. Born the seventh out of nine children and raised on a dairy farm in rural Cold Spring, MN Paul learned the virtues of hard work, team work on larger projects, and competitiveness if he was going to get his needs met, at an early age.

Paul carried these traits with him to St. John’s University where he participated on the football team and, in 1983 earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.

After just a few years of working in office settings, Paul’s entrepreneurial spirit could no longer be contained. In 1989 Paul launched his first business, Master Lawn Irrigation. He ran this contracting business until he sold it in 2003.

Having started land acquisitions in 1998 Paul started his transition into residential land development. In 2003, he fully committed to developing real estate. Paul ran point on many projects in Central Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, as well as assisting on a project in Nevada. Paul’s most interesting experiences were working on a gold mining opportunity for one and a half years in the Black Hills of South Dakota and planning a new town from the ground up in the Bakken Oil Fields of Western North Dakota.

Paul joined the Lakeplace.com Realty Team on Jan. 1, 2016. Paul loves the outdoors and likes to help people. He feels called to utilize his acquired experience, knowledge and skills to give back to people. He thoroughly enjoys helping people make well informed decisions. He enjoys helping people of all ages, at all stages in life and in the real estate transaction. He also enjoys using his acquired skills to help solve any problem that may come his Clients’ way. Paul strongly believes that there is a solution to any problem if you just look in the right place. Paul places “People and Principles over Profits”.

Paul’s motto in life is: “In whatever you do, do it to the best of your ability.”

Paul’s pride and joy are his three grandchildren.
