DeRentis joined Residential Properties LTD, in 2009 after a successful twenty-five year career in financial services. DeRentis was named Rookie of the Year, in 2010 by The Greater Providence Board of Realtors and he and has continually earned the distinguished Platinum Plus Sales distinction in sales volume. And have been recognized as “America’s Best Realtors” and was recently featured on the cover of Top Realtor Magazine’s RI edition. DeRentis has been the top producing sales agent at Residential Properties LTD since 2011 and was the number one individual sales agent in Rhode Island in 2018.

DeRentis has been an avid real estate investor and developer since 1987 having bought, sold and developed over two dozen properties largely on the City’s East and West Sides. A self-described “Real Estate Junkie” he understands the risks and rewards of real estate ownership. A College Hill Resident, DeRentis knows the City’s 25 neighborhoods well and has a strong appreciation for the rich diversity that makes Providence The Creative Capital of New England.

DeRentis currently serves as Chair of The Providence Redevelopment Authority. For twenty-five years, DeRentis has been involved with a variety of Providence community organizations including SWAP, WBNA, AIDS Care Ocean State, Providence Preservation Society, Trinity Repertory Company and the Perishable Theater Advisory Board.

DeRentis holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bryant University and a Masters of Business Administration from Providence College.
