· For over 12 years Bill Minett and his staff have sponsored “Project Valentine”. We gather hand-made Valentine cards made by area school children and community members along with donations of goods for the US Soldiers overseas. We ship thousands of cards and items to different troops each year.

· Speciality: Cottages to Castles…Lake Country’s Exclusive waterfront properties, luxury homes, condominiums, residential lots and land, development, in addition to commercial real estate, property exchanges, and real estate auctions.

· His attraction to real estate as a career began in his youth, his father worked as a real estate appraiser and tax assessor, and he would often ride through neighborhoods with his father. Together they would speculate about the values of properties and what areas might become “hot” in the future.

· Bill grew up in and around Oconomowoc, WI and is passionate about his community. The early days of his career were spent at agencies like Wauwatosa Realty before he and a collegue began Swan/Minett Realty in 1976. Starting out with 30 agents and over 200 listings in the first year, the economy of the late 70’s with 20% interest rates proved to be trying times. Bill forged ahead after the devasting loss of his business partner and started The Real Estate Company, Lake & Country Inc.

· Bill is no stranger to tough real estate markets, he is an innovator that constantly works on new ideas and strategies for successful sales.

· Bill’s hobbies include collecting turn-of-century Eastlake furniture and windsurfing on Pewaukee Lake. Bill also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
