Carol C. Dorey, broker and owner of Carol C, Dorey Real Estate., Inc., has spent nearly five decades shaping the real estate landscape in the Bucks County/Lehigh Valley region while championing land preservation and community enrichment.

Dorey's real estate career began in 1977 as an associate broker at Leighton B. Dorey Real Estate, Inc., where she honed her expertise for 16 years before establishing her own firm in 1993. Her path to real estate followed a diverse professional journey that included roles as Publicity Director for the trade book division at Rodale Press and art department manager at Vick Chemical Company, building on her bachelor's degree in commercial art from Finch College.

Under Dorey's leadership, her firm has distinguished itself through innovation and a client-oriented approach. The company created its own database before commercial databases existed and pioneered the use of colored brochures and property portfolios in the market. The office maintains a unique structure with six salaried, licensed staff members supporting ten sales agents, enabling agents to focus exclusively on client relationships rather than administrative tasks.

Beyond transactions, Dorey has become a trusted advisor on land preservation, guiding property owners through conservation programs that protect farmland and open spaces from development. She has helped preserve hundreds of acres by explaining the benefits of conservation easements and tax incentives to landowners facing development pressures.

Dorey's commitment to professional excellence extends to education, mentorship and historic preservation. She has served on the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors Education Committee since 2020, sharing her decades of expertise with emerging professionals. Her community involvement includes chairing the Arts & Cultural Affairs Committee for the Palisades Community Foundation from 2010 to 2016 and she is currently a committee member of the National Museum of Industrial History. She has hosted fundraising events at her home for organizations including the Lehigh Valley Arts Council and the Allentown Symphony Association.
